Wednesday Mar 08, 2023
Wednesday Mar 08, 2023
About 20 years ago, Karen Partisch was in a craniosacral therapy class and had one of those magical moments. After a quick conversation with the instructor, she learned that this modality was used with horses too, and her career treating people and horses was born. Since then, Karen has been developing her skills as a bodyworker focusing on the body’s ability to self correct. This path has shown her that when you allow the nervous system to deeply relax, allow softness to replace tension and restrictions, and mobilize fluids and fascia, the body will self correct. Karen is licensed as a massage therapist in Florida and is a certified health coach. Her practice is based in Sarasota, FL where she treats people and horses and is doing remote energy sessions throughout the US and internationally. No. 183. Laura Plunkett - Giving Your Horse Aid and Comfort
Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Laura brings 50 years of working with horses and 20 years of intuitive practice to her horse conversations. With passion, commitment, and humor, Laura works with owners, veterinarians, barn managers, trainers, and equine program managers to help their horses have a voice and be truly understood. Horses get the opportunity to explain their behaviors, describe their histories, answer end-of-life questions, resolve past traumas, express their hopes and dreams, talk about their physical comforts and challenges and sometimes complain about their pasture mates. Clients come away with increased peace of mind, specific steps forward, and a deeper understanding of what their horses have been trying to “say". Laura firmly believes everyone can learn animal communication and incorporates client skill-building into her classes and clinics. She loves being a volunteer and board member at Misty Meadows Equine Learning Center. She resides with her family in Marblehead and West Tisbury, MA.
